This is just the simplest possible deployment of video. There are many enhancements that are being considered for this type of content, including bookmarks within the video, default text displayed beside or beneath the video, and a resized player that fits the video's default size.
This video is linked to from a copy posted for download at the White House website. Note that it is not necessary to upload this very large mp4 file to drupal4ed in order to display it for our visitors.
